1. LG Washer Won't Spin:
If the lid switch assembly is defective this will stop the washer from spinning. As will a damaged motor coupling due to overloading. The drive belt can become loose on the pulleys, and the drive motor might be at fault. The stator and rotor assemblies create a strong magnetic field that rotates the drum. If these are damaged the washing machine won't spin.
Common Solutions for LG Washer won't spin:
2. LG Washer's Not Spinning and It's Making a Loud Noise:
Bearings in the drum can fail. And drum sealing can also be an issue. The drive pulley can wear out, or crack and break. A failed motor coupling, clutch, and drive belt can also be contributing factors. Faulty gears within the transmission and water inlet valves will make a noise. A whirring noise may be due to a clogged filter causing the drain pump to make a much louder noise than normal.
Solutions:
Tub Bearing: The tub bearing is mounted in the middle of the outer tub. The tub bearing helps to keep the inner tub spinning smoothly.
Tub Seal and Bearing Kit: If the washer is noisy during the spin cycle or is leaking from the bottom of the tub near the transmission, the tub seal and bearing are likely defective.
Belt Kit: Eventually, a piece of the belt can break off, causing the belt to make a loud noise whenever the motor is running.
Drain Pump: If the washer is making a loud noise while draining, the drain pump might be clogged or defective.
Drive Motor: To determine if the washer motor is defective, remove the drive belt from the washer and then run the motor.
Water Inlet Valve: If the washer is noisy or loud, particularly when the washer is filling, the water inlet valve may be at fault.
3. LG Washer won't drain:
The drain pump may be obstructed with small objects which can cause damage. The drain system itself may have blocked hoses. And the water pump belt could be broken or simply worn out. Drain hoses can become twisted or split. And other culprits are broken door strikes and lid switch assemblies.
Solutions:To check given below in your washing machine
4. LG Washer Shakes Violently During the Spin Cycle:
The job of the shock absorbers is to dampen the vibration. If one of them is broken this can cause shaking. Failing suspension rods and springs, and counter balance springs can also cause vibrations. If the washing machine isn't level, or has stabilizing shipping bolts fitted these can cause shaking issues. Other reasons may be loss of fluid for the balance ring, or worn out snubbed pads.
Solutions:To check these parts in your washing machine to avoid shakes violently
5. LG Washer Won't Start:
Common problems with non-starting can be related to the user control and display board. Any issues with the power supply will prevent the washing machine from turning on. And a defective timer will need to be replaced. A faulty door lock will also prevent the washing machine from starting.
6. LG Washer Won't fill:
This could be due to a faulty water inlet valve not letting the water get into the machine. Or inadequate water pressure will cause the valve not to work properly. The water inlet valve hose connection may need professionally cleaning or replacing.
